Ken Miller said he would quit has too many things doesnt need it.I dont think Barta has the balls to do it.
That is really too bad. I thought he was the best announcer in the state. He really was good at breaking plays down.

I think that's garbage on the U of I's part...their athletes get 2nd chances for breaking the law, but their 60year old announcers don't for drinking and looking at a woman's chest? Give me a break...Podolak is a good guy and was not looking to "retire". Barta blew this one.

But to answer your question possibly many of the posters (a good deal if not majority who are cyclone fans) that commented AND STARTED a 317 post thread about the pics early this week. But I could be wrong.

I don't know...I think we're heading down a slippery slope when everything on Facebook is "news" and fair-game as public domain.
It's going to get to the point where you aren't going to be able to have your picture taken in public for fear of what facebook profile it's going to show up on and who is going to use it to attack, or just innocently post because you thought it was entertaining.

To those who are blaming Barta: Eddie was not a U of I employee. It's too bad, but Barta did not fire him.

Yup, they already have been. Not sure what Eddie has to do with that though, since the football team is part of the U of I, and Eddie works for Learfield Sports.
