Ed Hightower is the worst college official EVER!!!!

IMO, reffing was good tonight, from what I saw.

Old Ed is going to hold a special place in my heart. First time I ever heard my dad cuss was at a Kansas game that Hightower was reffing---"what a ******* idiot"...

Never did like Ed, but thought he did a decent job tonight. The other guy (don't know his name) had some bad calls IMO.

What I dont get is how you can slam someone on one trip and not get a call and on the next trip just touch them and get a foul called.

Is this the guy with the dyed hair? I think the guy with the dyed hair reffed one of ISU's games at the beginning of the year and he got hurt and there was only two refs for a while reffing the game.

Ed didnt do to terrible tonight, the short one that could use some hair color for men product, and the one that looks like he attends blazing saddles religiously were the awful ones. I can't even keep track of how many times Pittman was in the lane for more then 3 seconds.

You dont know who Ed Hightower is. He refs like 5 games a night.

He wasn't that bad tonight. I've always thought of him as someone who calls some of the weakest fouls in the post

Reffing on both sides was bad though. Pittman probably got fouled 45 times down low and only a few were called.

I thought Ed had a good game tonight actually. It was a pretty well reffed game in my opinion.

Ed has lost a few brain cells I think over the years. He used to be one of the best in the nation about 15 years or so ago.

Ya well the two missed goaltending calls sure hurt a bit.

I thought the officiating was pretty good tonight, too. There were 3 non-calls that come to mind, but that isn't too bad. I thought there was a goal tending that was not called on them that should've been, I think it was on a CB shot. When Boozer got injured it looked like there was a lot of contact while he was trying to go up with the ball. And I think it was Dendy that came flying in for an offensive rebound and got undercut with no call.
