Early Predictions vs NEBRASKA

It's pretty simple. If we execute like we did against Texas, we will win. If we play like we did in the first half today, well...it'll get really ugly really fast.
It depends on what ISU defense shows up. As this is our last regular season scheduled game against Nebraska, I'm hoping for an all out effort by the 'Clones!!!!

I'm afraid you may be low on their point total.
Hope I'm wrong, but I can't see us even being much of a speed bump against their rushing game, unless our dline has truly improved by leaps and bounds the last couple of games.

I saw woman in a Husker shirt walking out of a restaurant tonight and after she opened the door I jokingly said "I was going to hold the door for you until I saw your shirt." She was very annoyed and said "I guess we'll find out next week." I was smiling and being nice and she was being very nasty like she was annoyed about taking a bunch of crap for wearing a Nebraska shirt. I wonder what she expected wearing that shirt to a restaurant in Ames?
About a year ago now I stopped in Lincoln and bought some beer on my way home from a trip west. I wasn't even thinking what shirt I had on but it was an ISU golf shirt.
The guy checking me out at Hy Vee said IOWA STATE! IOWA STATE! REALLY? YOU ARE WEARING THAT CRAP HERE? It was loud enough so everyone in the store could hear.
I said to him that I thought if I wore this the beer might be free since the last time we were in town people just started giving us stuff. Or do I need to get 8 cases to get it free?
He walked away from the register and flat left me standing there. Finally a girl from a couple registers away came over and checked me out.

ISU wins out and plays Baylor in the Big 12 Championship. That would be the coolest championship ever!!!!!!!
this isn't the same nebraska team that isu beat in lincoln. this team has playmakers on offense and they still have a top 20 defense. nebraska plays better on the road. this shouldn't be much of a factor.

I think we have a chance against Nebraska. Our defense should be used to defending the zone read because they practice against it everyday. If we get the running game going like we did today and Arnaud plays like he did in the 2nd half it will be a good game. We have proven that Any given Saturday anything can happen! Go Cyclones!
