Figured it was Dean Uthoff but Bill Cain with 26 against the Gophers

You guys are lucky Fran didn't want Hogue. He's been a nice consolation prize after you lost the Uthoff lottery. But let's be honest, he gets so many rebounds because he has to play like 52 minutes a game. If you had the Hawks' depth he'd probably play about 8 minutes a game.
Sincerely,
Deanvogs
This is false.Didn't this kid basically do nothing at Indian Hills? Tremendous eye for talent. Kid is a BEAST.
I have said it before, as have others. Houge is simply a mini-Ejim, and I mean that in the most complimentary way possible.
Undersized but athletic and strong. Great hustle. Nose for the ball. Rebounding MACHINE.
He will absolutely replace Melvin's role on next years team, and will be around a double double every night. Very valuable.
U.L. Washington?Anyone else wonder what is up with him playing with a toothpick in his mouth? If that is the good luck tooth pick, we need to keep it.
I think that in many ways, he's better than Ejim. Definitely a more explosive jumper and rebounder. Ejim has a more rounded offensive game for sure. He's developed a post game and has a better handle. Hogue scores mostly garbage buckets and open jumpers. But I do think that he guards better and is a better rebounder than Ejim.
One thing I really like is the toughness that Hogue and Kane bring to the team. It's infectious. This team is way tougher than any of FH's previous teams.
He hits enough 3's that you have to guard him out there and considering he really hasn't taken one I didn't agree with in non crunch times I am perfectly fine with them.

Some of that toughness is Sadler coaching defense too. Remember last year when we'd just sag off everyone (except whoever Babb was guarding) and focus on just getting back in transition? This year, it's all go all the time - you aren't getting any easy shots against this team, especially inside. Even with the new rules, we are holding teams way below their averages. That translates into close wins instead of close losses (UM and BYU this year vs KU twice last year).
I haven't been this excited for Cyclone MBB for a LOOOONG time. This is just a special year.
So what is the record for rebounds in one game at ISU? I'm sure it's more than 20, just curious how close Hogue got.
Ejim and Hogue in open competition for Big12 rebounding title?
