Dustin Hogue

However I do agree with your statements, he is so much more of a complete player than we could've ever imagined coming into this year.

warrior! Not sure I'm comfortable with him launching threes, but hey, that's Fred's system. Wish he would have gotten the 20-20

I wish Fred could have found him as a freshman.

His performance so far though leaves little concern about next year's front court even losing Ejim, when ISU will be adding Nader and McKay.

And to think how much better McKay was on the same team as Hogue at Indian Hills. Giggity!

He hits enough 3's that you have to guard him out there and considering he really hasn't taken one I didn't agree with in non crunch times I am perfectly fine with them.

That being said, is he 6'6"? He plays like he is 6'9" with his leaping ability. I love how can potenitally guard 4 positions as well. He is definitely much better than I had hoped for.

He's a bigger, more talented Stevie Johnson. (trying for the under-sized rebounding machine comparison here)

Its hard to tell how good he actually was at hills, that team was completely stacked so I am not surprised he is doing this well. Although I didn't expect him to have this type of jump shot, I cannot wait to see what he does in the future.

Didn't this kid basically do nothing at Indian Hills? Tremendous eye for talent. Kid is a BEAST.

Hogue is a grown man. He and Kane combined with Ejim and Niang, have made this team tough as hell.

We're not going to be intimidated or out-physical'ed this year.
