at first I thought oh great another bunch of dumb rednecks. Then I watched it and it really is a good show, very likeable people.
Tried to watch this show because I thought it might be like Swamp People or Deadliest Catch, but didn't care for it.
I love this show, and there is a lot to be learned from it! As with a lot of these shows, there are parts that are too "staged" but I think the characters on the show are pretty fun. And, it's a good rags to riches story. I especially like the grandpa whippin the youngsters into shape. Anyone over 25 has to totally love that guy's perspective!
I like the show too, but the episode where they had to keep a goat in the bathroom is what's wrong with these types of shows.
agree - the bad part of this show is a lot of it is too staged, and obviously staged - but if you can look beyond that, it is generally pretty good.
