I’m looking to have my basement drywalled, its ready to go (framing, electrical etc) but don’t have the time, energy, or patience to drywall/mud/tape. Does anyone have any recommendations in the area you would recommend?

Doesn't fully answer your question, but just mentioning that you can get people to do the mudding if you hang the drywall. It isn't hard to do. Don't know if you just don't have time/patience for any of it or just the worst part which is the mudding.

I looked into that, the cost difference is minimal. No professional drywaller wants to mud over a job they didn’t hang. It literally might save 100 or 200 bucks total.

I live in north central Iowa and there are people who only want to do the mudding. Been 10 years since I needed any done though.

Find a crew that will just hang the panels(heavy part). Anyone can mud, that is the easy part, and it doesn't take much to get a level 3(3 passes....tape/4/8) finished with a little texture. Don't even need a gun for that either. Just get some pre-mix mud....add a little water, get a large paint brush, preferably a foundation brush and "throw" it on. Practice first on scrap board. Do it at your convenience and save some money. As for the mess sanding......wet sand. It might seem weird at first but once you get familiar it is much cleaner and makes for a much better finish.

Edit: If saving a couple hundred is neither here nor there then ignore this post.
