Don't hawk fans realize when they were going through this streak, that is was just like football. They were playing no one for months, and then when they finally played a good team they got completely pounded.
At this point we just have to tip our caps to Nova for destroying everyone in their path. Any time you beat a team by 44 a couple of months after losing by like 30 against the same team, that's absurdly good.
I'm not sure, but the Big Ten certainly didn't have a good tournament so this may be the case. Yikes.
But they were supposed to be the best conference in the nation and it was proven they were not by the ACC.
i think that the ACC turned out to be a better conference. But no one seems to grasp the fact that the Big 12 has 10 teams. ACC has 15.
They beat us for the first half of the game. And we won two tourney games. 50% of 2 is 1.

The only thing he was not wrong about was Iowa's win-loss record in Dec-Jan. The record for the remainder of the year was omitted for some reason.

Iowa's January team could have easily kept up with either of those teams tonight. I wasn't impressed with unc or nova, especially down the stretch.
Just glad someone FINALLY played Nova closer than Iowa did.
