If Hall has blocking he will be a stud. I really like the way he runs. Should be the focal point of that offense.
Holy ****. I was destroying your awful logic. A quarterback can play very well and still lose the game. The game outcome is not solely predicated on the quarterback. Example Nate Stanley does not have impressive in game stats(generally speaking) but he plays on a team with a very solid defense.
Exactly. Stanley was not even that good of a QB and won bigger games than Purdy has. Purdy has 4 years to accomplish this goal.
No, just a game. Way to twist words though. You are pretty good at that. I am not saying Purdy is horrible, but he is not a big game QB. I think he can get their, but he needs to hold on to the ball, audible, trust his checkdowns, and find a way to win games against ranked teams. He has 1 in 2 years of starting.
So why did you ask me if Purdy ever won a game like Stanley did vs Nebraska when he was awful?
Because Stanley, while not the best QB at Iowa, found a way to win when it mattered. Purdy does not do that yet. He still has time.
Not according to the majority of reputable metrics. 4 out of 6 say Iowa had the tougher schedule, which make sense as the Big12 was really down this year.
