Doyle cost Epenesa millions

Wanna make a bet? I say he goes in the top 25 of the draft then, and you say late first round 25-32 or early second round.

I don’t really have any opinion about this but what a stupid bet. You are taking 25 picks and giving them 8 lol

They are the ones claiming he is a late 1st round pick. And I'll give them anything after the #25 pick, not just #25-35.

I get that but #24 is still definitely a late 1st round pick. So would they still be right?

No, you gotta define it. With 32 picks, if he is taken in the first 3/4 of the 1st round that is NOT a late round pick, after that I'd say it is. So Yeah sure I'd give up #25, and say #1-24 is NOT late round, and #25 and after is.

Point is moot anyway, nobody is going to take that bet with me, as they know they would lose.

i don’t follow that stuff, I do go off what the hawk fans on here say. They were talking top ten before the season started. Top ten and 22nd area are quite a bit different. Still both good but a good chunk of money different.

You wanna follow what buddy and the pooch were saying and you take top ten and I go 11 and lower? To charity of choice. I don’t bet but if a donation is the source, then I consider just rounding up money for a cause.

He is a solid player and an excellent pass rusher. There are parts that need to be worked in and he would benefit going to a team that plays a 3-4 or is willing to have him be a pass rush specialist at first.

Another dimwit Twins thread.

The gift that keeps on giving the whole year. Love how almost all his thread titles come back to bite him in the end. He should probably quit making threads.

Epenesa was a beast last night going against another potential LT. He made the play of the game by getting to Slovis as he was throwing and knocking him out of the game.

Why would I bet anything on what someone else things? ISU fans were posting he is a late 1st round/2nd round pick, that is what I was disputing.

I posted that the same people who were saying he was top ten, along with the hawk fans here, were now saying he was a late first early second round. If you believe they are wrong, I don’t know and am repeating what they said, then you should feel confident that he won’t drop out of top ten.

Typical Iowa fan, I said that he had dropped, his play the last 4 games have moved him back into the 10 to 20 range.

He started the season as being top 5 to 10, no one is talking about him there now.
How about we bet that he goes top 10, where he started the season. Otherwise show the sites that have him there today, or go back to the Iowa boards.

Whatever, he started the year, being talked about as a top 5 pick. After the first 5 games he had what 1.5 sacks, and less than 10 tackles. He had fallen behind the kid from OSU in the talk for the best D-lineman in college.

People on your own sites were wondering what the problem was, and draft experts lowered his ranking in their mock drafts.

Do you see any draft projections today that have him ranked anywhere close to where he was at the start of the season? If so, please list them. Otherwise go back to the Iowa board.

Most reliable draftniks have Epenesa projections in the 7-12 draft range. You can't really put too much in preseason draft hype. No idea on draft order, need, or development. Epenesa was tentative early in the year. Part of it was defenses game planning him, Epenesa himself needing to settle down, and Iowa's coaches not putting him in creative situations. Don't put too much stock in the lack of sack production early in the year. All year long he was near the top for QB pressures nationally. You could tell he was really focusing on improving his rush defense
