The Clones have already lasted longer in the NCAA tournament this year than Iowa...at minimum a day...In half the time as well.
What is even worse......there is a 50/50 chance ISU's first year coach takes his team further in the tourney.

From Hok forums:
"No thirst for watching college basketball right now, and here I am sitting in Buffalo until Sunday with second round tournament tickets. Yep, it hurts. My pity party aside, I am sure there are 15 young men who are feeling much worse. Damn Spiders!"
Not sure if anyone has said this yet or not, but I will not cut them slack for this. Richmond was shooting in the same venue they were.I will actually cut Iowa some slack because studies have shown that teams really struggle to shoot in the bigger venues, especially in the football stadiums. Buffalo is a hockey venue so there is a ton of dead space behind the buckets like Wells Fargo Arena so it's definitely a sightline adjustment.

Nope. They had it set up different for RIchmond when they were on offense. Not sure if anyone has said this yet or not, but I will not cut them slack for this. Richmond was shooting in the same venue they were.
Dr Tom was a very good, likeable person, and for the most part that carried over to the fan base. After Dr Tom the fan base got increasingly arrogant and obnoxious emulating Alford and Fran.Die hard clone here. Tom Davis was a good coach and person. Really stupid of iowa to let him go, especially to replace him with that arrogant prick Alford.
If this has been posted then sorry but apparently Mr. Vitale's bracket has exploded. In part because of his misplaced confidence in Fuming Frans ability to win a tournament game.
Maaaybe. I think the perceptual development of these players is simply opportunity under cover. Going with the current team, guys like Ogundele, Mulvey, Uhlis, Toussaint, and possibly Sandfort would never come off the pine for ISU. They would be treated like Tre Jackson, Tristan Enaruna, and Jaden Walker. Fran gives these guys a shot, whether deserved or not, and it breeds loyalty and false sense of belief amongst the fan base. And those are just guys on this years team. They have 4-5 guys annually like this.I hate Iowa and Fran...but what do you mean by this? It wasn't an accident...I would think Iowa has done a decent job of developing guys. And the reaches and busts are more common in every program than "reaches" that become lottery picks. OK...I will now go back to laughing AT Iowa!
Yeah, he looks to be about 8 months along.Hawks on the belly guy should have some offspring coming
up..

Might want to take the weekend to get your resume updated...Boss yesterday....
I don't think ISU should have gotten in, maybe the NIT or something"
Me "the Big 12 is a meat grinder unlike the fluff of the big ten"
He didn't show today of course. Working from home- Monday will be funView attachment 96872
This is what ESPN says regarding Fran
"Iowa coach Fran McCaffery drops to 4-6 in NCAA tournament games -- the worst tournament win percentage while at a Big Ten School (among 35 coaches with more than five NCAA tournament games coached)."
Fran didn't develop Garza, Frank took him out of Iowa City to work on his game. One can even argue that Luka saved Fran's job... White and Marble are literally two of the few bright spots during Frans career but that was how many years ago?
