Door County Trip

yeah if you are coming up from Sturgeon, you can hit pretty much any of them. They're always too far south for us to make it worth it once we get to Fish Creek. One Barrel in Egg Harbor has a location here in Madison too that spouse likes. Oh I think Hatch Distillery is in Egg Harbor - that was good too.

I kind pulled a switcheroo and decided to stay in Egg Harbor the first night instead of Sturgeon Bay. It just seems a little more of the full on Door County experience, and we can still easily bike out to Cave Point and Whitefish Dunes that first day.

Make sure you find the goats on the roof.
Door Cty isn't a go-to for myself but it's got some cool parts.

And be the one to feed one of the goats a shot, not the dude 15 minutes after and the goat either pees or falls on you.

I kind pulled a switcheroo and decided to stay in Egg Harbor the first night instead of Sturgeon Bay. It just seems a little more of the full on Door County experience, and we can still easily bike out to Cave Point and Whitefish Dunes that first day.

Whitefish dunes has some good biking IIRC, but my oldest was 3 and now is 22. So it’s been awhile.

We're only bringing the road bikes, so it would be a bike to the dunes and then walk around kind of thing.

Good choice. SB doesn't really feel like Door County imo. Egg Harbor is a good spot to start.
