Dogs in bed

Dog sleeps on the floor. Dont really want a 100lb dog in my bed. Sharing it with the wife is hard enough. Sometimes we will get a cat up there who loves to lay between my legs as I sleep. It drives me nuts because I move about and I end up launching her.

Good lord! Your dog weighs about as much as the girls that are normally...

Eh, nevermind

My 90 pound mutt could take care of your cat problem for you. My dogs HATE cats, they have about 10 confirmed kills. Once those cats get into their yard, it's all over.

We have a 120lb rotty and a king sized bed.Yes ,she sleeps with us ,her name is Harley and she also loves to go tailgate on game day....no leash required...Harley also travels around the Big 12 conf....she has been to Neb.,Co.,Mizzu,Kansas,K-State,Oklahoma,Oky-State and Austin Tx...

Man guys...

Dog Hair in Bed?
Slobber in Bed?
They go outside and step in dog crap (even if you think you have it all picked up). do you want that in your bed?
My big A. Choc. Lab sleeps on the floor. Good dog though.

Outside. We used to have our dog in the house but we moved recently and have not allowed him in our new house. It is a huge change, no hair all over, no smelly couch, no getting up to let him out, and he cannot get into anything. I thought my wife would miss him in the house but she hasnt. He sleeps happily in the garage now. When he was inside the only time he was allowed in bed was when one of us was gone for some reason.

If I had it my way our golden puppy would sleep with us but the wife has put the big K-bosch on that one. I had to settle for his bed being on the floor next to our bed.

My beagle Hilton has slept in our bed for over 5 years now. The only 2 things that annoy me about him sleeping with us is that sometimes he licks my toes in the middle of the night and he like to go outside to pee at 4:00 in the morning.

My Fiance does the same thing (maybe not the toes)...

I occasionally let me dog on bed to get petted, but he doesn't get to sleep up there- he gets to sleep in his dog bed. My sister will let her dog (which is about 100lbs) sleep with her and I don't know how she stands it.

My two dogs (one lab, one mix) sleep on their own beds next to mine and they're quite content. Although I don't mind vacuuming fur I probably would freak if there was fur on the bed. I think it stems back to my ex and her black cat sleeping on her pillow at night. It was kinda disgusting to say the least.

I have 2 german shorthairs (one is only 12 weeks old), the 2 year old sleeps half the night in bed and half the night in her dog bed. It is nice in the winter because she keeps me warm (the wife not so much). The puppy sleeps in a cage, however I don't know what we will do when she gets bigger. The bed is not big enough for 2 40 lbs dogs.

Our Westie sleeps cuddled up to me all night every night, I love it. So basically I sleep between my wife and the dog, doesn't bother me though.

We have a miniature pinscher that absolutely must sleep under the covers in bed. As soon as someone gets in bed he's there trying to nose under the blanket. He particularly likes to lay between the legs. He's little and doesn't move, so it doesn't really bother us. I often wake up with one or two cats on my back also.

My German Shorthair is 65lbs and has been sleeping with us ever since the night my wife asked if the puppy could sleep with us. I explained to her that if she did it once, she would do it forever. She didn't beleive me.

Good news is, the dog is now starting to sleep in my son's bed at least half the night lately. Maybe she will make the transition to 100% soon.
