Does this L actually help us?

Legitimate question. I am no expert, but that 8 seed certainly sucked last year. If we win a game or two maybe it keeps us at a 10 seed in the tourney?

As an outsider, and listening to the way these national pundits have reacted today about last nights debacle, I don't think you are hurt by this. Everyone, except a small, flat area in middle America, knows you beat them twice. This probably did help ISU and hurt kU.

No. You don't ever play to lose, and you never hope for a loss. If you don't feel absolutely jobbed regardless of the national attention you don't understand what happened.

No. A loss doesn't help.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

An 8\9 seed isnt really that horrible this year anyways compared to some other years. Nobody unstoppable in this tourney really with how much losing there has been at the top.

So you're saying that if we win too many more of our remaining regular season games, we might have to intentionally lose in the Big 12 tournament so that we don't get the 8/9 NCAA seed.

Heck, let's just lose every game we play. Think about how much that would help us!

In turns of locking a spot in the Tourney, this does not help. I think we'll take care of business though, and I do not think this was a "must win" by any means.

But the amount of media coverage ISU has gotten from this is crazy, and most of it has been pretty positive and pro ISU. I've even heard we've gotten more attention for this then we did for beating Okie State in football. If we would have won yesterday, it would have been in the news for a couple hours and forgotten about by most of the nation by today. Instead, every major sports show on TV and radio is still talking about it. For those who have twitter, it absolutely exploded last night with pro ISU tweets from all over the nation from people who normally wouldn't gave a rip about ISU. There is no way we would have gotten that type of attention if we won.

Not saying I'm glad it happened, because I was at the game and was ****** off as anyone, but this loss is not that bad in the big scheme of things. And thankfully, us beating Baylor last week prevented this from being a "must win" game.

I think the only good thing that will come out of this is that the team is going to be ****** on Saturday. Frankly I would not like to be Oklahoma. We play well after a loss and I could see us really taking it out on teams for the next few games.

Lolwut? The media coverage wasn't pro-ISU, it was more pro-those refs sucked donkey balls. A win is a win is a win is a win is a win.
