It can matter a ton to the players but not so much to fans. The players are the ones playing for something.
The 'you're a loser if you don't think it's a big deal' is acting like the fans and players are on the same level of input into the process, which is not true.
KSU could of left this tourney anywhere from a 2-4 seed with a possibility of playing your first two games in driving distance the higher the seed. I think its factual that this tournament matters.Well, as I said earlier, I, like King McClure who actually played in it, I don't like this tournament because there's nothing much to be gained for the upper half of the league. It's a money grab.
TCU hammers K-State. It wasn't close. But what's it mean? TCU already had a dance card, as did the Cats.
Will be interested to see how the conference teams are seeded. See you next week when the games actually mean something.
I've written from the start that this tournament matters to the fans and the coffers. Whether it does to the players and coaches is up for debate. King McClure said he had his doubts about the latter. Naturally, winning it is great for fan bravado.I'm sure surly along with all of the other KSU fans would be absolutely giddy if they got to cut down the nets in KC tomorrow.
Things didn't seem meaningless to the fans at the arena or to the players or to Tang.Meaningless, like I said. The 2023 B12 champion is Ku, not the winner of this afterthought.

I know you aren’t the jack weed Cats fan that sat in front of me then. Someone will have to do a welfare check on that dude.Neither argument makes it right. It's a personal view. Mine is different than yours, that's all. It happens that King shares mine.
Will be interesting to see how the conference teams are seeded. This loss didn't help K-State, furthering my point about the afterthought.KSU also dropped from 17 to 23 in the NET and that could have a major impact on their seed. I truly hope their players don’t take it seriously so we can continue to pick up cheap tickets from their fans.
But the win would have helped.. to at least maintain the seed line. Will be interesting to see how the conference teams are seeded. This loss didn't help K-State, furthering my point about the afterthought.

In this matter, to talk about the value of the B12 tournament to players and coaches, mostly following King McClure's comments that it just didn't matter to many of them.THIS IS A FAN SITE. WTF ARE YOU HERE FOR THEN?
