Dodies little bro?

It'd be nice to see if his older brother is worth a damn before proclaiming this kid scholarship worthy.

Yeah, because brothers can't be better than each other... it's not like we're getting another Dodie if we recruit his brother. Seriously... I'm sure they each bring unique skills to the table.

The video looks good. I wonder if Dodie has the hops of his brother.

I think it'd be cool if we could get him to come, it's always cool having brothers some the same team, like the Graham's at Okie State and those Harrison punks at Colorado.

Edit: He's probably got one of the most hilarious faces going on in his headshot I've ever seen.

It really seemed like he dominated them, but they were obviously inferior talent. I would like to see how he does against bigger and better competition. He does seem very athletic though.

LOVE and I mena LOVE the fact he is left handed. Soooo much harder to defend a left handed person. I like what I see.

Its all about tenacity and this kid seems to have it.

He's listed as a 2007 recruit though... is he thinking about doing the prep school thing like Dodie? He would be available in 2008 then and we could think about getting him. Maybe if Stinnett doesn't commit we could go for him.

I would still love to see him play with Dodie though. I think it's cool when brothers play together.

Yeah his windmill is definately bad-@$$. He has some interest in ISU. Right now hes going to. In the part of the persons comment that said if 1 brothers crap the other one is also. What about Michael Jordan. picked #23 cause he wanted to be half as good as his bro?

I'm no scout but I didn't see any shooting. All his scoring was at the rim. At 6'3" or so, he won't be doing all his scoring at the rim in the Big XII or anywhere in Div 1. Without seeing his Jumpshot and trey ability, I don't think we know the whole picture. Recall we had a bunch of players who supposedly could score at the rim last year and that didn't work out so well. Notice also that he has an "And1" title on the video. That was the impression people had of our team last year and no liked it.

Now, I'm sure I'm reading way too much into this and he just put a video on the internet with some cool plays most of which are dunks. I just don't think people should be impressed with some highlight reel dunks.

My 2 cents.

Try watching the whole video. The last segment is titled "three" and shows a very nice jump shot.

Yes, even though it only showed one shot that one shot looked better than any form anyone had on the team last year.

I think the "And One" part of the tape was because he got fouled and made the shot, I dont think it had anything to do with anything else. The kid clearly is highly athletic and can run the floor. I think it is safe to say with that athletic ability he has, that his shot would be at least average and he can get to the rim. With a little bit of coaching he can become a rounded player......reminds me a little bit of Clark.

Athletic ability does not a shooter make. (Just look at Rajon Rondo) That would be a primary question to answer before recruiting him.

Agreed. I said that he has to be at least an average shooter. Rajon Rondo just got drafted 21st in the NBA draft..... I think we would take that.

There is only a touch of irony in your post considering Rondo can play!...LOL
