We had one once. It was kind of stupid though. The wife would clean our house before the cleaning person came. Your mileage may vary though.

We have one that comes every other week, totally worth.
We've considered it. I would, my wife hates spending money. Our main problem is my wife's allergies. They get going when she cleans, and they get going when I clean. Would be nice to have it done while she's at work.
I figured the wife posts would be immediate. Kudos to @mramseyISU for getting one real post in first.
This is exactly why we never did it and never will. My wife would have done the same thing. And she knows it.
Serious response, we are looking for one if anyone knows of one. We don't want a company like Merry Maids or something like that. My grandma used to do this for families when I was a child and we are looking for someone like that. Ideally it would be every 2 weeks to vacuum, dust and sweep the hardwood and tile, with once a month cleaning the windows and mopping the tile and hardwood.
We found a company in des moines that has returned my family to sanity, with two small kids, we just didn't have time to keep up on the deep clean.
We have them come once a month, and it's amazing to come home and have your home dusted, mopped, vacuumed, and wiped down. Each cleaning they do something extra (like the inside of your range vent hood)

Mine is $135 for 4 bedroom and 2 bath, two story once a month
Our lady charges $40 each visit and she comes every other week, I don't have any real basis of comparison but I think that's on the cheap end.
We've NEVER had a house cleaner. We DO have a marriage counselor come in every 2 weeks that happens to dust, vac, toilets, etc...
