Has anybody noticed Tom O'Neil at any of our games this year? One or two years ago we were something like 0-7 in games he officiated. He's has always been my least favorite but thankfully I don't recall him doing any of our games this year.
Well, for you and me maybe. If it was part of your job, wouldn't you just choice the flight and class and costs be damned?
He's referring to the flights not being covered by the school, and having to pay yourself.
I understand that. It the arrangement is part of your doing business, you choose how to do that, and what you're willing to pay or not pay as part of that.
Eades has personally forced Niang to the bench early in the first half every game he has officiated us. Most of the fouls are ticky tack or mysteries. I believe Eades called every foul on George last night and a travel.
If we see Eades on the floor in one of our NCAA games, it would be worth it for a fan/player/coach to take him out at the knees prior to the game. Eades is a ****.
Yeah, 90% of the bad calls came from the two other refs.

Hield with the held ball no call as he lands again and puts it in
Hield piggy back on Georges (again) and Georges called for the foul
There were five calls that the national announcers said were bad calls, and every single damn one of them went against us. Pathetic.
What are the odds? Surely we shouldn't get the same set of refs when there are 32 other games to choose from?
Odds? We don't need no stinkin' odds. If it's a ref issue, ISU is probably going to be on the losing end of it.
Ref whining after a loss. Typical. There were more reasons why we lost the game and I guarantee it wasn't as lopsided as many of you believe.

I notice specific refs way more when I attend games in person (which I can't do as often as when I lived in Iowa). When I was regularly going to games at Hilton O'Neill was by far the ref I'd see making the call when I saw a horrible call.
Higgins, like Hightower, gets attention because he finds a way to get his face on TV somehow so even TV fans constantly see him.
