I'm just curious but I would guess that Iowa State Athletes would not waste time reading these message boards. I mean they are so busy studying and practicing that I would think they would not have any extra time. Has anyone ever asked a Iowa State athlete if they have ever been on a website like this before?

Yeah because 18-22 year old kids aren't allowed to have even 5 minutes to themselves a day. Do you really believe they don't have time to get on the internet? Seriously, its not exactly time consuming to go through a couple posts. I can go through all the posts I care to look at in about 10 minutes.

I think they can spare a minute here or there. Did players before the internet read the paper? ... I bet they were all too busy studying and working out.
Of course they do. I just hope they realize that a vocal few do not equal the cyclone faithful as a whole
I would bet that there are several here, but frankly, I'm impressed by the level of restraint shown. There haven't been any obvious cases of someone taking offense to their name being dragged through the mud, and if I'm sure of anything, it's that most names associated with Iowa State have been at one point or another. It takes some pretty thick skin to ignore some of the criticism around here. Not that there isn't a good deal of praise to even it out, but the bad sticks more than the good.
I don't think that the bad has been all that bad though. Yes, some people say some things that shouldn't be said, but I don't think it has been that bad
I can't think of ANY reason for a current ISU athlete to be on a message board. It would be a waste of time.
