Question: How do they get so many of them to dress up like empty seats and sit there so quietly?
because our 13,000 are actually there while your 12000 just buy tickets and sit at home, also our students actually buy tickets intsead of being bribed and begged
Do you honestly believe that attendance number for the hawks?? I've been dragged to a couple games in Carver this year. Nobody goes to that dump to watch Iowa basketball. Nobody cares about Iowa basketball. Sorry, that's how it is.

Iowas attendance this year has been much better than in the past. Good numbers for the Purdue, Nebraska, Penn State, Ohio State, Minnesota, and Michigan games.

Look at it this way. They want to sell papers, and people love underdog stories. Right now, Iowa is an underdog in just about every game in every sport, so it's an attractive story. It probably gets boring to them to write about another exciting Cyclone victory.
You do realize the majority of Iowa fans feel the RAG is biased towards ISU right? Tis true.
That tells me it is fair and balanced towards both teams. The RAG sucks as a newspaper but to pretend it shows favoritism towards Iowa or ISU is straight BS.

This isn't saying much.
Attendance numbers, as we all know, are generally inflated. Good attendance numbers does not mean good attendance.
Yah . . the difference is . . ISU earns the pub and Iowa doesn't. Reverse that formula and ISU wouldn't come near to sniffing the front page. Get it now?
Edit: Correction . . if it is BAD news for ISU it would indeed make front page news . . . not to mention all those nice little barbs in headlines . . . Recruit DUMPS ISU for Iowa . . . . Long (former ISU wrestler/recruit ARRESTED) . . . on and on and on . . too many to post.

I don't know if the majority of Iowa fans think the Rag is biased toward ISU - your saying it doesn't make it true.
You can't honestly look at today's paper and believe they are not biased toward the Hawks.
Im just happy with the way are teams playing and if were on the front page of a paper who cares?? Does the front page of a paper win a basketball game?
It's not even that to me. It's truly acknowledgement of poor journalism and even worse management. They do it to Iowa as well - haks can win a big game and drakes loss to ---- is on the cover. They are a disgrace.
