Disappointing

I carried in 2 bottles of water and refilled in the restroom sinks with no trouble at all. I know some people would never consider doing that but I grew up drinking water right from the lawn hose.
garden hose? Were you rich? OK, we drank from that a lot but on occasion had to dip hands into the cattle tank (water on top is clean). And I did the same for UNI game, nothing wrong with Ames tap water.

I wasn't able to go to the UNI game, but my wife was still going. She asked if she should she if her dad wanted to go with her and I told her no cause he's a UNI fan. So she went by herself and a gf of hers came and sat with her lol.
My wife and my BIL's wife just couldn't take the heat and we could have brought family that are hawk fans but instead had a little more seating room.

There weren’t that many Hawk fans, and we were loud and proud for as long as reasonable given the nature of the game so I thought the fanbase did a good job. It’s not like you can ban Hawks from the stadium. At this point I think you’d only get fewer by being openly hostile (beer dumping and the like) like they can be in Iowa City. I’m glad we’re above that, but it works. I sure as hell don’t want to go to a game there.

" Yes, this was not the best football I have ever seen, and I'd like my money back.

Uhhhh...OK...uhhhh I believe you have to fill out a form for that.

No, I'd like my money back now.

I'm sorry it doesn't work that way, you see I have to fill out a form and you sat through most of that game already, so....

You see that sign? It says "100% guarnateed Cyclone Power" Do you know what the meaning of "guarantee is? Do the teach you that here?

Sir, if you'd just wait a minute

Look, just put your little hand back in the little Longhorn Network cash register and give me my $2,750 dollars back please......."Tom". "

People realize that in modern day, when you upload your tickets to the cyclone ticket exchange or StubHub or any of those services you have absolutely no control over who buys your tickets?

It’s getting better! In the early 90’s it was 60/40 split with hawk fans. Now 85/15 and I see a ton more Clone fans everywhere. Winning cures those issues and that disappointed me yesterday. Also - time to close the gates at half. Winning brings tradition and we need to beat those pigeons two years in a row again. Frustrating when we handed them this win!

Less Hawkeyes than usual, but the ones present were rubbing it in extra bad after the game. Shout out to all of us who stayed until the end and had to endure it.
I agree that they were worse than normal. Started to go after my 14 year old who hadn’t even said anything. A step closer and pa here was ready to create JoBo part two.

Everyone probably thinks it is the game, or even the hogeyes and their DB cheering while the Alma Mater was being sung. I was disappointed in the number of seats sold to the visiting team, and I know people will b#### and say I am naive. but JFC, if you need money that bad go sell some blood or work a week at a p### ant job.
For what’s it worth it looked like a very heavy ISU crowd on tv

The crowd was fine, I would guess 4 to 7 thousand EIU fans in the stadium, and most of them were because they purchased their tickets from EIU. They were loud once they knew they were going to win.

Saw way to many EIU fans at the game day broadcast with flags and postures, God, I am tired of losing to them and listening to their talking about the game means nothing to them.

Concession lines were horribly slow, my cousin left at the end of the 2nd quarter right when the half started to get us a couple of sodas for our rum, and he missed most of the 3rd quarter. He said he was in line an hour for a soda. Its about time that ISU puts in more areas around the stadium to purchase a water or soda when its hot out like yesterday and then stock the damn things with plenty of product. There is plenty of room in the South endzone to have set up some little stands to just sell drinks, beer would even be better, but at least soda and water.

I'm an 81 year old Iowa fan and suffered through 17 years of loosing football. During those 17 years I don't think I ever witnessed fans leaving the stadium like I did yesterday.
Yep. You do realize this is 2021! People can walk out and drive home watching the game on their cell phone.
You guys won and you have a nice/good team enjoy that and save these comments for your Hawk friends.
