Great win last night! One thing our offense could do to help Brock out is some designed rollouts. He is really dangerous when he gets outside of the pocket and it only happened last night when his blocking broke down. Not sure if Manning doesn't have much in the playbook to do that or what? Breece carried our offense again tonight and really deserves alot of praise. Without all his broken tackles our offense would have been in alot of 3d and longs.

Purdy is just better on the run. Seeing the coaching staff calling nothing but drop back plays is depressing b/c Purdy is truly a dual threat guy. I understand the need to protect him, but 5-7 called runs per game should be doable and keep the defense off balance.

On a related note, how about putting Hunter Dekkers in for short yardage, LanRam type of packages? That would save a few hits on Purdy and give the opposing defenses something else to think about.

Purdy ran more tonight but at times bc he was forced to..lol..I agree with OP..More QB runs will keep those blitzing LBs back..

OU was blitzing every single play...One way to stop that is your QB running thru blitz for 20 yards.

They weren’t blitzing every single play. Our pass protection was just atrocious.

Why design it and take away Brocks decision making and adjustments and confine it to one side of the field?

Was there a need for it last night? I didn’t feel like OUs pressure was that good.

An interesting idea but I think they’d rather have the ball in Hall or Purdys hands, for good reason.
