Dendy to Kentucky?

Man, some of the coaches at those schools must be on crack...no disrespect to Dendy but does Wake Forest and Kentucky really need a guy like Dendy?

I was excited to see Dendy get more playing time, even if he missed free throws, I thought he played really well down low.

What am I missing where Dendy could even transfer as a senior and play somewhere D1? Is it a matter of sitting out a year completely?

It says he has to sit out a year. The rumors were he wasnt the best student so I dont see why he would want to go to college for an extra year, unless he had no choice.

If I was a coach I don't know if I'd even go after him. They get one year, probably have to tutor the **** out of him, and get to deal with him and his going home bizarre type scenarios.

I don't get why people are ripping him he was a good player just couldn't keep his grades in check

Whats with the hate on Dendy's game? The kid could play ball, I could see him going about anywhere and getting some playing time each game. One good example I can think of is Taggert going to Memphis, but I think Dendy is better than what Taggert was.

All of that aside, it seems like he walks around thinking his **** doesn't stink. Also, the fact that he lied about wanting to be here and being excited for next season makes him sound like a d-bag.

I also do not understand where the hate on Dendy's game is coming from?

He brought the spark when we needed it on the court last year. Aside from his performance at the line I have no complaints with his skills. It's the off court stuff that hurt with Dendy. Wherever he lands I hope he gets his stuff straightened out.

I am sorry Dendy left and he did bring some spark in games last year. I was especially pleased with his performance in the last 5 or 6 games. But his free throw percentage wasn't even the beginning of his problems. He has a horrible basketball IQ. He tried and hustled, but never seemed to learn where exactly to be on the floor or make any adjustments. We all watched him throw up that disaster of a shot against UNI, but it went beyond that. He blocked so many shots because he was ALWAYS in the wrong position on defense. On the basketball court, the didn't have the good sense that god gave a fly. He was the exact opposite of Hamilton who wasn't nearly as gifted athletically, but always was in the right positions and often because of that he 'covered' for the mistakes by Dendy or Brackins.

Talented, but in the grand scheme of things, not a very good basketball player. He was far to frequently in the wrong place (sometimes across the country) to succeed in a team concept.

I can't wait till next season starts so we can stop rehatching the horror that was the 2009-10 season, McD, and all his players are gone. Move on.
