Dejean Jones

So BDJ is a college aged kid with a lot of pressure from school and his basketball career......let the man play his video games and smoke. Whats the deal. I bet the person filing the noise compliant is a try hard *****. I hope karma comes back to them in some way.

He SHOULD play... sounds like scraps of weed, and that was that. Most officers would let that go, but since he can't back, i dont' fault him.

People see the word Marijuana and they freak the **** out. It's weed, it's natural, doesn't kill you.

I agree with this. This is more about the transfer strategy than it is about BDJ. Clearly he's been given opportunities to clean it up. He hasn't. Now the crime isn't that serious, but at the same time disrespecting your neighbors, the police, and the coaching staff is a different story. Especially when you're a 5th year transfer who has a history. Fred has to ask himself... at what point is this kid going to learn his lesson? And if I just brush this off like it's no big deal what kind of message is that sending to potential transfers in the future?

As far as what you said previously.... I haven't been trolling at all. These things happen everywhere. I just wish people would be level headed about them instead of blaming the incident on his neighbors and the police.

Get off the internet if you want level-headed. This is where the party happens.

Oh come on... lets not pretend you don't remember Josh Oglesby getting popped for Public Intox and serving yet another Iowa basketball zero game suspension.

You ride in here on your high horse spouting bull **** when you have guys playing for your team that were never required to own up to their mistakes. Head on back to your glass house.

Was he warned 4 times? Is a public intox the same thing? Did JO have a history? And please tell me... when was Oglesby the starting point guard?

Jok spent 4 days in jail. In doesnt appear as though the ICPD was "working with the coaching staff" to resolve his issues.

Also, BDJ has unpaid tickets and a suspended license. im sure he was getting a ride everywhere around town, right?

Cut him loose.

Please just stop, people with this opinion make the whole fan base look stupid.

An arrest is an arrest though right? What about Jok you conveniently ignored his 4 days in the slam.

Doesnt matter charges against BDJ are dropped anyway.

Well they managed to turn some simple noise complaints while BDJ was playing video games with two friends and some casual pot to "Hosting a drug house charge", which is headlined on every ******* sports blog and website, makes it look like he has a meth lab in his basement.
