Bug Defect: App Store Redirect on Iphone Safari

Lol. I liked this post and instantly got re directed to the App Store. Unreal.
FYI - it's not just Safari. Using the Mercury app on my iPad to browse and the redirect happens with it too.
And chrome. It also does this really neat thing where sometimes I can only type 1 letter at a time in my posts before the keyboard drops down.
This is an issue that affects any site using ad services as the ads themselves are what contain the redirect message. iOS 8 reduces the number of these redirects and Apple has promised additional filters in the near future. Google has it on their feature backlog to also start incorporating filters for Android but has thus far not released anything.
Unfortunately, there isn't anything that can be done on the individual site to stop this, it all depends on the ads Google AdSense serves.

That is unfortunate. No other site I've ever used has done a redirect to the app store. And many have ads.
It all depends on the AdSense settings and what types of ads are targeted. I'll see if Chris or the guys can look at the latest filtering options in AdSense.
This one appears to be back. Using Chrome on a iPad Air 2 I keep getting redirects for an app download from the App store. Usually happens when I hit the refresh button.
I wanted to bump this - getting the same issue on my iPhone while using Safari. CF redirects to a splash screen called "Free App" from Apple.com and then it tries to launch the app store - I closed the window before I could see what the app actually was.
I was experiencing this earlier today as well, same exact site redirection ... Seems to be better, for now ...
