David Cook Wins!!!

I firmly believe as I said a couple weeks ago - David Cook will sell more records than any other Idol before him.

I can't agree with you here but only because of her Carrie Underwood Home | The Official Carrie Underwood Site and with her ability to sell to the pop and country crowds. Plus her looks are just so much more amazing then his. :smile:

P.S. Now I am sorry I made fun of the purple flowers after posting my own thoughts in here. :no:

It is too early to tell, but it may be hard to beat Carrie or Daughtry out. They are both pretty awesome.

These are very valid points and more data is in your favor than for Cook. I just think he has a huge star power.

And am amazed that so many voted for him over David A.

Honestly is it such a good thing for Cook to be the Idol winner? Daughtry wasn't (and to this day I STILL can't remember the name of the grey-haired dude that won it that year) and look how successful Daughtry's become. Hasn't only two Idol winners actually went on to become famous?

It may have been better for little I-can't-seem-to-open-my-eyes to win and get sucked into an Idol contract while Cook signs a record contract that doesn't tie him with Idol. Cook will be huge and he doesn't need Idol after this point to do it.
