I was going to put Blackwell pretty high too, as he transferred to a pretty high level prep school for his senior year.

Dubar's uptick in scoring has been a welcome sight this past year. I still think physically, Dudley Blackwell is the most ready to step in next year. Also, Xavier is behind Solo and George. I hope all push for minutes if they are good enough though, obviously.

I just hope they all make it to game 1...

Okay? Other than Dudley's mothers situation, what has you concerned?
With how things have gone lately, all 4 making it to game 1 would be good news. Last year we lost two of them before the season even started. I’m not concerned about Blackwell making it here. My comment was more joking around than being serious but Prohm has missed on some HS guys lately so I hope they’re all good enough to stick it out unlike the 2019 class.

Yeaah, I figured that is what you were talking about and i think that is very much an outlier, all things considered. Not a good look by any means, but not something you (or anyone) should just start assuming will happen.

Isn't Xavier a stretch 4 while Solo and George are both only seen as post players?

That is the hope and expectation, yeah. I just doubt he is out there in meaningful minutes early, in that role. I'm all for if he plays his way into that, but dont think it should be expected. I foresee him being used in a capacity similar to Conditt's frosh year.

Once he gets on the floor with our guys and start working out all together, I'm curious to see how he is doing. Want to know how effective he can be in the post against our dudes. Want to know if he is subconsciously floating out to the arc. Want to know how he handles getting bodied down low. How he handles a quicker or taller guy on defense. All things he has the physical gifts to be able to do, but I am curious how it translates to this next level before expecting too much out of XF next year.

Definitely not assuming it’ll happen. I think class is a little more talented than 2019 so hopefully they all stick around long enough to make an impact.

Two players “left” before the first game because we had two better options ready to commit and needed scholarships. Are you still going to be mad about them leaving if Foster or Dubar turn out to be good?

Xavier is a different skillset. In fact, all three are different.

I’m not mad about it right now. I’d rather have Dubar and Foster everyday of the week. Sheesh people are taking my comment far too seriously. All I was trying to say is I hope Prohm landed 4 players good enough to actually make it to the first game.
