That's not the only thing.

What was that movie where the kid breaks his arm building a raft or something and after the cast comes off he throws 100 mph fastballs and he gets called up from Little League to the Chicago Cubs?

What if they fix his shoulders and he can shoot 80% from three?

It could happen.
 
If I a little late on this sorry. But since he's not coming till '15 and will be at a juco still, we still have 2 more scholarships available. Essentially DW will be filling BDJ's scholarship.

He wasn't playing at ISU next year anyway so now we get an extra year out of him. Barring a botched surgery this glass is full.

Yep, even if he is a little rusty, in theory he could spend an entire year getting back into the swing of things and then contributing 2 years.
 
While he is mending in school next year, we need to remind him about carting stop signs and running red lights after drinking underage is currently frowned upon by the current admin. Just saying....
 
When I've looked around most websites have him at 6'7 but all of the recent publicity on him lists him at 6'9? Anyone in the know, know what his true height is? Its very possible all of the smaller height stuff was hs height and he's grown but wasnt sure.

And what will his wingspan be after surgery? Maybe we can add some extenders.

I'd guess 6'8" or 6'7". Watching him against IHCC he will add more length than we have had, but he would be a bit undersized if he were in a system expecting him to be a banger-back-to-the-basket type.

Really like his use of the word "we," especially when making reference to this year!
