Saw a brief video of Dante in action today. The blond beauty look is working for him on the mat. No idea off the mat.
 
Ended up getting 2nd. I believe we've got five guys competing tomorrow in the Freestyle divisions, plus the CWC guys in the senior divisions.
 
Started off Freestyle today with a pin. Renaldo Rodriguez-Spencer picked up a tech fall, Logan Breitenbach and Marcus Harrington are both also still on the championship side. Schuman drew Zain Retherford in the first round and lost. No results yet for the guys in Seniors.
 
Where we're at after the first day (of two). I think I caught everybody but there's a wide array of what people listed for their team name, and while I know our starters/key reserves and all the CWC guys/alumni I don't always remember the names of reserves and new recruits.

Junior Nationals Freestyle:
@66kg Ryan Schuman is out and did not place
@66kg Dante lost 13-7 in the quarterfinals to Alfred Bannister, freshman at Maryland. He needs at least one win today to place
@70kg Renaldo Rodriguez-Spencer lost in the second round by tech fall to Archie Colgan, sophomore at Wyoming but has picked up a pair of wins in consolations and needs at least one win today to place
@74kg Logan Breitenbach is out and did not place
@96kg Marcus Harrington has tech falled his way into the semifinals. He'll get Anthony Cassar, freshman at Penn State, in the semis.

Senior Nationals Freestyle:
@57kg Angel Escobedo lost 4-1 to Joey Colon (former UNI) in the quarterfinals and needs at least one win today to place.
@70kg Mike Moreno lost 10-2 to Adam Hal (former Boise State) l in the first round but picked up some wins on the backside and needs one more win today to place.
@70kg Logan Molina is out and did not place
@86kg Deron Winn lost 8-4 to Keith Gavin (former Pitt) in the semifinals. He'll wrestle for 3rd today and can place no lower than 6th.
@86kg Jon Reader lost 4-1 to Keith Gavin (former Pitt) in the quarterfinals. He needs at least one win today to place. He's on the opposite side of the consolation bracket from Winn.
@97kg Jake Varner is in the finals and will face Kyle Snyder, freshman from Ohio State who got Gadson'd last month.
@97kg David Zabriskie is out and did not place
