Yeah, they took what was originally built as a gas station and made it into a bar that appears to have been there forever. Nice concept.

Might have to check it out. I am not much of a court ave guy because of my age. However, every time I go down to the Patio at Tipsey Crow its a good time. Some people my age go there. No so much on the rest of the Court ave bars. . So East Village seems like a little older crowd so I might have to check out this patio scene and see whats up.

I hear ya there. We're in our mid-thirties and went to Court Ave a few weeks ago.

Everything was too loud, too dirty, and too crowded

Of course going to the beer pong/Smithson owned places, but not sure I've ever felt too old at The Royal Mile/Red Monk, 1908 Draughthouse, Court Ave Brewery, Johnny's HOF, Hessen Haus, etc. Granted, maybe I"m not out late enough anymore (which is a real possibility).

Yeah I really enjoy Hessen Haus and Royal/Red Monk. And El Bait.

It was more of a reflection on myself than anything else.
