LOL super bowl much? Somebody needs to remind him Iowa hasn't made the sweet 16 since probably before he was born.
CGD is overrated. I honestly don't care if we never get it. But if they do come, I sure the hell don't want to share it with the hawkeye fans.
So it doesn't mean anything, but it means enough you don't want to "share" it with the Hawkeyes. Sounds like 4 year old logic to me.
It's **** like this that ESPN would do...
...and people have to wonder why we want ToE to have NOTHING to do with the Cyclones College Game Day.

Didn't say that it "doesn't mean anything". I said that I personally don't care if we don't get it. It's become a caricature. That said, I'd rather it doesn't come to Ames than have them there for that weekend. Just my opinion. The minute they say they're coming to Ames for that game, it becomes a State of Iowa/Cy-hawk CGD instead of an ISU CGD. WSU waited a long time for CGD and they did it right. I'm guessing they would have been a little annoyed if after that long wait, they got it in Pullman for the Apple Cup.
Is Auburn pissed when CGD is at Alabama-Auburn? How about Michigan when it’s Ohio State-Michigan. It is often a rivalry game. I say bring it on.
When will the generation that is scared of Iowa be gone?
I think it's people are annoyed with hawks. They show up everywhere that they aren't wanted.

I don't live in Iowa and just walking down the hall in a spot today an Iowa fan had to step out of their way to flip me some **** about my ISU shirt.
They're just like that and it'd be super annoying for CGD.
If ISU and Iowa were both on that type of level, no, it wouldn't be an issue.
When you look at our list for guest pickers, there aren't any big names. Our biggest name alum with Fred out of the mix is probably Hornacek. If they wanted a great Iowan with a recognizable name, what about Kurt Warner?
