Cyclone tattoo suggestions

If you are a little unsure about your tattoo, some suggestions:

  1. The larger the better. No point in going back when you realize you should have gone large in the first place.
  2. Make sure it is in a very visible location, like your forearm, neck or face. Why get one if no one can see it?
  3. Don't pick it out ahead of time. The best decisions are made spur of the moment. Drink heavily before going, it will help open up your creative side.
Follow these guidelines and contented bliss will follow.

Unfortunately, I followed two of those suggestions for my first one:sad: Fortunately, the one suggestion I didn't follow was 2:yes:

Yes, anywhere you have bone closer to the skin than muscle, it will hurt worse. Shoulder blades, ribs, and feet are good examples of where getting ink will hurt.

I have 3 tattoos: on my back (between the shoulder blades, but slightly overlapping them), on my left upper arm, and on my right upper arm. The only one that really hurt was my right upper arm, as it was on my tricep and near the tender spot of my arm pit.

I have one on my shoulder blade and one on my ribs. The shoulder blade felt like a massage from 30 swedish women with very tiny hands compared to the jack hammer stabbing me in the chest 60 times per second for the one on my ribs.

I have one on my back left shoulder and have been waiting for the next tat idea to arise, but I am such a perfectionist I am waiting on the perfect tattoo, my friend and I did make the pact that if Iowa State ever won a National Championship in football or men's bball that we would get tattoos of State's logo.

I have one on each foot. They aren't horrible. But, they aren't huge. One is the size of a 1/2 dollar and one is the size of an average cookie.
