Cyclone Tailgate Tour in Council Bluffs

Thinking about driving up to Marshalltown this year. The coaches are always swamped, but I like hearing the program and have enjoyed visiting with the Cyclone Club representatives. Remember when Johnny and Jim Walden used to barnstorm for fans. They loved to always show the humorous side of it all.

The only one I went to that was any good was decades ago here in Mpls. The AD, or someone, was rambling on about the state of things while Johnny was drinking at the reception bar and I was talking with Walden and WBB coach Becker. Found out Walden had been an assistant at Nebraska during the 27-27 tie game. Not sure how we got onto that.

Other than Coach Rhoads I haven't spoken with anyone since that I thought didn't actually seem to hate having to spend time talking with the peasants. That includes our AD.

We were not able to attend the CB stop this year.

Does anyone know why Otzelberger wasn't there?

Nice turn out in W.C. talked to JW,Dresser,TJ, and Jamie. Only disappointing thing was they didn't acknowledge the Elite 8 tennis team. Also there was CJL, Campbell, Fennelly. Dresser got some good jabs in on Iowa, mentioned that the best way to get top recruits is to let them go to Iowa for 6 months, said Chittum wouldn't pick up ISU calls or texts when being recruited send him to I.C. for six months he comes to Ames. LOL the crowd ate it up.
Boy the meet when ISU beats Iowa Dresser will be over the moon. He wants that one, it sure seems like when talking and listening to him. Everybody wants to beat Iowa but he really wants to beat Iowa. Cy hawk 17-8 was a good talking point by all the coaches.
