I have been confident with my predictions up to this point with games. The only game I have predicted wrong was the BYU game. Unfortunately I don't have the confidence that the Cyclones win this one against the Hawks. I think the officials will call this one close.

Yeah, I just hope that when Iowa tries taking it to Niang with Woodbury we just let them and play not to foul. Woodbury hasn't scored in double figures yet this year. I'd rather have Niang all but let him score and take it right back at him than have Niang foul out.

Defense plays a bigger role than anyone expects.

Roy Marble said that when playing here in 1987 that they had to rely on instincts and not even try to call plays because you couldn't hear yourself think. That team was Roy, B.J, Ed Horton, Bill Jones, Jeff Moe etc. Lots of very skilled road tested veterans on that squad including 2 first round draft picks if I am not mistaken. Do you think this Iowa team has that kind of talent and toughness? Because I can be fairly certain it will be just as loud tomorrow night as it was 26 years ago. Like I said before......it will affect them.

Except for Moe (nyuck, nyuck) those guys are way better than what will be on the floor tonight.

There is no way Ejim ends his Cyclone career with a loss versus Iowa. He's going to go off for 20+ points and 10+ boards. Cyclone's pull ahead late in the second half after a very close and hard fought game.
