CU @ ISU Predictions

I predict I will get SUPER wasted for this one...it's easier to watch...IF Iowa State decides to start playing a full game and win I am ready to yell and cheer for every dunk and 3 along the way or I am prepared for the meltdown and head hanging for a loss to CU. I just don't wanna even look at the scoreboard. Just watch my Cyclones play and KNOW they are winning because of how they look/play.

Brackins loves Baylor. He always has monster games against them. Maybe these two games, he breaks out.

At some point, defenses have to be worried more about Gilstrap than they have been. As soon as it opens up for Craig, we can have a killer combo there.

After watching all the games thus far, he is my prediction:

We come out slow, and are down 4-10 points throughout the first half of the first half. We then decide we want to start playing, and take a 6 point lead to the first half. Colorado comes out of the gate well in the 2nd half, and run the lead up to 10 points at the 10 minute mark. We get it back to 4, but never any closer. Missed free throws and poor defense rules the day.

The board goes apopletic and calls for McD's head, but then every realizes nothing will be done. Same song, 94th verse.

After the first 6 games, the cyclones seem to play just below the level of their opponent, and come up short by a few points (with a few exceptions!). If we can't get to a 20 point lead in the first half, I have no confidence the clones will win.

I sure hope so! You're right, Craig had that big game down in Waco with 8 threes. I hope ISU can win down in Waco, but it won't be easy. Baylor looked really good in their win at Texas.

Yeah, I watched the 2nd half of their game vs. Kansas and was impressed. Plus Tweety Carter and LaceDarrius Dunn are really good players.

Yes they are. Very difficult to match up against. Carter is quick and Dunn is a very good 3 point shooter.
