Cryptocurrency

I am just pissed that the "Tulip Bubble" is now the 2nd biggest bubble of all time.

Also, I read that some people are Mortgaging their house to buy Bitcoin. Seems like a bad idea...

Seriously? I would say Darwinism on this one, except we'd just end up paying to sustain their lives.

Been trying to set up an account on coinbase all morning long but "We couldn't verify your identity right now, but you can try again in about 8 hours." is there any other site I can use?

I had the same problem earlier this week. Finally got verified, invested in Litecoin, doubled my money, cashed out, and now waiting for the profit taking to settle down and jump back in.

Also try GDAX.com

Waiting for the next Enron ride. So many millennials will ravage the streets there 200 dollar investment is gone.

Coinbase is experiencing a record number of people signing up. You can go straight to an exchange like Kraken, Hitbtc or Poloniex.
If you are going to do this I would have a wallet ready, to transfer your coins to as leaving them on an exchange isn't a good idea.

I’d think you’d be crazy to not invest 1-2% of your savings in this. There are some pretty smart people thinking this thing could be huge in just 3-4 years and really huge in 20.

It is, however, a pain in the ass to get signed up on Coinbase.

Mostly because Coinbase tries to play by the rules, rules that haven't really been written. They were already sued, by the government, to try and get every single users information. They ended up giving several thousand.

The really smart people are the ones that invested in 2010-2013. I wish that I invested a couple months ago. Right now the market is flooding with new people trying to investing.

I'm so pissed off at coinbase, I've been trying to get my id verified all day long. I don't get why they don't just ask for the last 4 digits of your SS, it would be way easier.

Use coinbase and have some litecoin. Got into it a few weeks ago and have more than doubled my money.

My advice is only invest money you can live without and can afford to lose.

I don't understand humans... They will rush out to buy something they don't know anything about only because the price has doubled and doubled again. Three years ago I could have stood out on the street and tried giving away these coins and probably would only have been yelled it. Would go something like this.
