Crowd Last Night

Kind of ironic that we were all worried about the team being a little hungover from the KU win on Saturday, when it was actually the crowd that was. Everyone stepped it up in the second half and they sounded great on TV, especially in the last 10 minutes of the game.

I thought the team was too. There were so many back door/slash plays that got past our defense. K State seriously did about 4 in a row and our whole area was like "c'mon, its the same play, stop it."

The team played very well overall though. Couldn't be happier for that W last night.

A KSU fan and his young son sat in front of me. The kid had his ears covered most of the second half:biggrin:

Which is ironic, because during the Non-con portion of the season, that same kid had his eyes covered during the second halves of Purple Kitty Basketball.

I thought the KU game was pretty weak as far as loudness goes this year (compared to past 3 years). KSU 2nd half was louder than either KU half.

Huh? Is this based on what you saw on TV? Or did you sit in a different spot in Hilton? Hard to imagine "pretty weak" being an accurate way to describe Saturday's crowd. Did you think the dog show was "pretty weak" too?

I was sitting about a row from him. He was really loud...
I also sat behind someone who was on CF during the game.
