Preferred walkon or greyshirt I say. I'd like to have him on the team, just would rather use the remaining schollies on some other positions.

Creekmur is a pure QB. No TE and no WR for him. Why do people think a 6'7 QB who is athletic isn't a good fit for this offense? Would we rather have a 6'3 QB who can't see make multiple reads, isn't that accurate but can run??

My only problems with him are that he's a hawk fan and he's already shown he has no problem decommitting. If we sign him and then the hawks come calling, he's gone.
How do we know Creekmur can make multiple reads and is accurate at the college level? How do we know if Tiller or Barnett cannot make multiple reads or are inaccurate at the college level?
And yes, a QB that can run is absolutely essential for this this offense. We run a zone read. We either have a QB that can run or we should change offenses.
I wasn't talking about Tiller or Barnett. It just seems more fans think the spread offense means you have to have a fast QB. Not true at all! It's a bonus if they can move in the pocket but they don't need to run.
Nothing against him but we'd have 5 scholarship QB's next year if that was the case. I'd be surprised.
We run a spread but our primary running game is a zone read. The QB has to be a threat in that or they will just ignore him and tackle the RB. We absolutely must have a QB that can use his legs if we are going to run the offense we run.
