I havent seen this anywhere on here. I know most on here could give a damn less about UNI, but I have never seen anything like this before. This happened on Saturday during their playoff game agaisnt Wofford. To summarize: UNI had scored to break the tie and put them ahead by 7. Kicking off, the ball goes into the endzone where a Wofford player recovers. Upon catching the kick, the returner casually walks over to the referee and gets the ball knocked out of his hands by a UNI player in what looks like a ******** move. Turns out, since the player never took a knee, the play is still live. UNI player falls on the ball, touchdown UNI. Here is the video:

I have never heard of or seen anything like it.

I saw that, this weekend. That's nuts. I'll be that kick returner never does that again.

As dumb as the kid looks, did their ST coach ever cover that? As basic as it appears, you can't take special teams plays for granted.

Good teams always find a way to win...

Yep, UNI has had a great year, that is for sure.

But giving up 500 yards of total offense, while gaining about 200, is not a recipe for a deep playoff run.

It will be interesting to see if they can go out to Montana, and improve upon the offensive performances they have shown the last couple of games. They will definitely need to do a better job on the offensive side of the ball in order to win out there.
