I'm glad actual basktball is going to get played tomorrow; I get home from work and check CF and every thread is complete, utter garbage.
That said...
Grad transfer rule should remain, if for nothing else than allowing redshirted players to transfer. Besides, if a student athlete gets his/her degree, they earned it.
What should get nixed are immediately eligible waivers for any reason. Make a rule and stick to it.

Some of them have figured out that all Kansas fans are ***holes so they don't want to hang around KU boards...unfortunately, they've heard Iowa folk are nice, so the ***holes come here.

Newsflash: upsets happen in the NCAA Tournament. They happen frequently. They are a big reason why everyone loves the Tournament.
Programs like Kansas that earn a top 4 seed every single year will get bounced occasionally by a double digit seed. Look at Duke. Look at North Carolina. Look at Syracuse. Even Tom Izzo, the NCAA Tournament wizard, has lost to a double digit seed.
Hell, look at Iowa State. The two greatest Cyclone teams in history were the 2000 and 2001 teams. One of those teams lost to a 15 seed. No program is immune. If you think Fred Hoiberg is immune, then you're kidding yourself.

I agree totally the thing is that at Kansas it almost never happened until Bill Self got there. There's a decent sample size to compare to and going from 2 or 3 in 30 years to 5 in 11 years is a big jump.

There is nothing to "admit". You appear to be trying to draw the ridiculous conclusion that Bill Self isn't a very good coach because of these unfortunate exits from the tourney. Most of the rational thinkers on here seem to disagree with that line of logic and are aware that there is a bigger picture involved than those individual years. As I have stated on here just one page earlier, I would certainly RATHER that Self not lose to double digit seeded teams but I am level headed enough to look around the sport and see that a KU down year is better than the down years that every other coach and program in the sport has had. There's really no more point to continuing this further so move on to your next irrational rant. Better yet, if you and Cychedelia would please put me on your ignore list the rest of the users of these boards would greatly appreciate it.
You're too stupid to read my actual posts. Never have I ever said Bill Self wasn't a good coach. In fact I believe I said 3 times he's a great coach
So what is the point you are trying to make here? That Bill Self is a bad coach? Any dope can hop on wikipedia and check records and results for tourneys. We don't need it reprinted for us. What is the point of your endless babbling about this?
I don't think you really follow the Tournament. Roy Williams got to four Final Fours at Kansas but he was also upset in the 2nd Round three times over an 9 year period. Once as a 2 seed and twice as a 1 seed.
