Reasons I cheered for UNI:
1. Are not too annoying of fans.
2. Underdogs
3. Iowa team
4. Hate Kansas

The only reason I wouldn't want UNI to win is because all of my Hawkeye friends who jumped on the UNI bandwagon and say they don't care about Hawkeye basketball. Then they claim they have always been UNI fans...:no:

I agree with Doyel -this ranks up there with George Mason over UConn.
It's much bigger than Villanova-Georgetown 1985 - those teams played two very close games during the regular season, one went into OT.

Its a bigger upset than Villanova-Georgetown; however since Villanova-Georgetown was for the national championship it was considerably more noteworthy. Its all about the size of the stage your on; its a bigger stage to defeat a favorite during the tournament than during the regular season and the size of the stage keeps growing as you get closer to the national championship game.
