Iowa State was staying at the Comfort Suites in Ames a couple of years ago...West Des Moines Marriott is usually the visitor's hotel. I had Southern Cal stay at the hotel I work at last year when they played Arkansas, and they did their walk-thru's at the local high school football stadium vs. the actual stadium. I would imagine Valley's field is used for the same thing?
this probably wouldn't be good, considering past ISU trends, the relatively unknown backup QB would come in and scorch us as the coaches would not be able to implement any sort of adjustment... wait! that was last years staff...
