If this doesnt do it for all of you Mac lovers I dont know what will. ISU quite possibly has the worst coach in big 12 history. Most of you ripped me for my letter to Greg, maybe now at least some of you will realize where I was coming from when I was writing it.

In 2005, ISU lost a horrible game to Colorado, pulled it together some, lost to K-State, then reeled off 7 in a row, defeating 4 ranked teams along the way.

So I say to you, are you aware of the significant historical context behind this loss? Change is coming, and it won't be in the form of a new coach. As we speak, a very angry coach just kicked the crap out of some locker or trash can. I'm not predicting a 7 win stretch, but defensive improvement will occur.

I love you "instant success hip wanna-be court-rushing coach hangin' internet instigators" and your need for validation.

There is something called a process. You are going through one now. Your process a bit slower than the rebuilding of the program and the return of Hilton Magic, but you will eventually come to understand how things work in the real world.

Again you fail to look into the historical aspect of this game. These teams always suck when they play each other. 2005: 54-52 loss at home. 2006: 33 fouls called in the first half.

What did you expect? Something clean? You really don't know jack about the Cyclones, do you?

I remember watching a Sweet 16 ISU team lose by 25 in Boulder, scoring just 45 points. And I watched longer than the coach did.

And I remember watching a team with a sophomore named Fizer score 44 points at CU, and get destroyed by 20.

If you truly were "OldSchool", you would have seen those games too.

Preaching to the quire, brother shadow.

Seriously, I can't believe the number of fans that expected us to win.

Haven't they been paying attention. Do they watch any other BB teams play?

Why does it take a loss to Colorado to get him frustrated? The fans were frustrated after SDSU.

Yep, 25-1 when we hold the opponent to less than 60. Shot that one tonight.

I agree this loss is apalling but calling Coach Mac the worst Big 12 coach in history is ridiculous. He's not the worst coach in the league today.

Get a clue, dud(e). I seen much better ISU teams go to Boulder and come out with a loss.

If you're not happy, I'm pretty sure they're looking for some fair weather fans somewhere, maybe to the east.

What are you going to do about it oldschool? I think if you put on the coaching pants, we would be a bigger joke. We are bad, but we are young, and there are players coming in that will make a difference. You want to fire GMAC now, so we lose what recruits we have, probably lose any chance that is left of getting Barnes, and start from scratch with a coach I'm sure you would be complaining about from the get go anyway. If you are tired of him, quit watching, if he doesn't get any better, others will do the same and eventually he will get fired. But I would think you would want him to succeed before that happens.

I've thought for a long time that ISU students and alums were way too forgiving of LOSING COACHES!!!!

I think it goes back to the intellectual acuity of said students and alums...ie they are just too smart and thus are way too forgiving of losing....A lot of these people are mensa material...but sadly I cant say the same for me...No Mensa Membership for bobby!!!!

BTW I am not forgiving of these losing coaches....WIN or get the H*** Out!!!!
