So the word on the street is he is starting. Is this true? And how do you all feel about this game if he's the starter?

I feel the same as I did before - our offense has to run the ball and control the game, if Green starts and obliges with a couple turnovers, anything can happen! Go Cyclones

We'll take it but I am more concerned about the line of scrimmage.

Arnaud needs to run and run hard if we will have any chance.

Agree completely. Him starting will give us a better shot, but it won't matter if we can't run/stop the run.

I'm more concerned about our offense sustaining drives. We don't need 3 and outs. If the offense comes out to play, I think we'll have a good day regardless who's starting for Nebraska.

Sean Callahan on Twitter said the Martinez and Lee were not on the field for warm-ups. Said he feels that Green is starting.

The same I did as before. The defense has to control the running game, Vanderkamp has to pin Nebby deep--and the Cyclones need to run the ball down the Cornhuskers' throats. The name on the back of the jersey doesn't really matter.

Martinez didn't even come out for warm-ups? If that is true either that is a massive troll by Pelini or a good sign, I had figured that he was just not 100% and they didn't want to re-aggravate the ankle.

Fox sports said Martinez is starting... Will see.
If I had to guess, I would guess this is correct - if he can go, he should - the idea that they were going to see how it goes and use him if they get behind was really pretty ridiculous when you consider the most recent history of this series. I expect the Cyclones will be ready to play, whether they can win or not remains to be seen - but I have confidence you will get our best effort!

Callahan is the only person I have seen mention that but that is what he said.

Nebraska will be able to run on us no matter who is the QB. Best thing is Green can/will turn the ball over.

Geez, this whole thing is getting nuts.... Let's kick this off so we no longer have to wonder.

Weird that fox says he is starting and Callahan says he wasn't in warm ups. I find that odd given the reports during the week... To have lee and Martinez both not out for warm ups... Seems very strange. Possibly spending time getting worked on by the staff. If Lee's injury is what rumors say... He is likely done for the year.

So if Green reallyl does start, this will be our second week in a row against a third string QB. I hope the final result is the same!

Considering Fox isn't broadcasting the game, I am guessing they are taking the word from earlier this week and are a little behind

Here is the latest from Callahan "Taylor Martinez is out on the field dressed in full pads, but running pretty gingerly."

If he ends up starting this will end up being a well played fake.

Now this from Randy Peterson..."All three significant Nebraska quarterbacks are going through warmups."
