Cyclone Twitter posted a video of the D-Line and O-Line doing some drills against one another. It was just a couple clips but Bonifas was getting beat badly. He's still young but I'm a little concerned that he is 2nd string. Hopefully it is more of a sign that our D-line is going to be really good.

That was the one. I am reading too much into it, mainly because I don't have a lot of confidence in our offensive line.

We have Tyler Miller, Tyler Maro, and Tyler Moore all on the OL/TE. That might have to go on the announcer bingo card...every time they screw one up.

Myers said Tyler Miller at right tackle now. Makes sense with a lefty QB. But I wish some year we could have our OL all set more than 2 weeks before the first game. Still shuffling and experimenting up until game time and then we wonder why we struggle through September. I swear our line is always in flux during Fall camp.

Technically everyone is that's why there's 'or' on the depth chart. I agree though, ISU is cursed as far as Oline goes.

Just based on the way day to day has been used in the past with OL in the Campbell era, it is probably safe to say we are talking about a day in 2023.

Watching this clip again, I wonder how O Linemen don't get called for holding on almost every play. They always seem to have a fistful of the defender's jersey!

From what I understand, they usually get away with it if they can keep their hands and the defender in front of them (more or less). When they get into trouble with holding, is when the defender gets outside leverage on them.

That's pretty hard to cover up. They either continue holding on (and risk getting called) or have to let go.

I know this is and OL thread but any word on #99 Howard Brown's progress? Where does he fit in on the DL depth chart? Any possibility they might move him to OL?

Too late for this year obviously, I would think.
