Gameday would be awesome, but I would be surprised if they would announce this early. We have two tough road games first, and there would be a lack of luster to bring Gameday to Ames for ISU-Baylor.

I've heard this as well

It is not true. Wells is larger than many facilities in cities that have hosted before (Dayton for example).

Factors like hotel space and travel expense to the city have held back the effort to bring NCAA games here, but how they do with the women's tourney and wrestling next year will go a long way towards possibly hosting in the future.
