Classless Hawks

You know, I really think message boards ruin sports for me. The vocal minority gets to be heard, and unfortunately the vocal minority sucks.

I find myself cheering against teams that I otherwise have no problems with because some shmuck said something tool baggy.

I really think social media might be the death of sports.

Don't know about the death of sports....more like the death of civility. Folks type things on message boards they'd never say in person.
 
I think most Iowa fans would hold back being happy about Niang being injured because they know they have to play him at least two more times and he has done significant damage against them already as an underclassman.

All I would say to Doug is George has scored more d1 buckets than he ever will and will get paid to be an athlete when it's all said and done.

The funny thing is calling niang fat when the dude is probably 100 lbs. overweight stuffing his face with doritos. His trolling effort leaves a lot to be desired.

I felt that same way during the McDermott Era. I know how you guys feel.
 
That thread on HN is classic little man stuff.

All of those calling Georges fat :biglaugh:.


He plays on a team with an RPI of 7, is 27-7 with 14 wins against NCAA tournament teams.

He averages 16.7, 4.5, and 3.6 on that team and is a stone cold killa on the court.

What a bunch of ******* dweebs.:biglaugh:

I agree, there will be an occasional year they get to the NIT. Home games used to be an advantage for them, but they suck so bad that's not even helping.
 
Couple of Hok fans celebrating Georges' broken foot after church today.:rolleyes: I don't wade into HN cesspool but don't need them high-fiving a broken foot after church.
 
Being the small and petty person that I am, I live by the philosophy of "It's not enough that I succeed, others must fail."

This season of Cyclone basketball has been an absolute joy and I have absolutely no complaints. But watching the complete and utter implosion of the Hawkeys has made it so much sweeter.

The schadenfreude is rich and delicious, boys and girls.
