I truly believe that if someone started a thread like that on this site, Chris or one of the many great moderators would have the decency to delete it. Am I wrong on that?
And the one Hawk fan defending Georges is being called a "clown fan in disguise". Kudos to the Hawk fan who is standing up to these idiots.
The hawk fan base isn't blogging about the injury... Just a few of the jerks. Maybe as many as WE had with the racial crap and threatening Self. Like someone said earlier - they are us and we are them.

The point being that there WAS a minority that was thrilled to see Embiid out with an injury. I am sure that every fan base has the same ignorant minority, Kansas included. But to start a post acting all high and mighty when this fan base has done the EXACT same thing is just begging for someone to point out the hypocrisy.
If I'm being honest, 95% of the Hawkeye posters on HN, HR, and the Scout site feel awful about Niang. Most of them are rooting for us. There are a few mouth breathers of course, but you'll find that here as well.
My mom was from Missouri, so "show me" these minority fans that were thrilled to see Embiid out.

I saw nobody actively excited to have a player injured. Maybe you saw something different than I did, but there is a fundamental difference between being excited about having your team taking advantage of a key player not playing, and celebrating over a player being injured because "that's what the fanbase deserves" as I, and others, have seen.
It looks like it is almost all just one guy called Doug that is probably a HS dropout posting from his Mother's basement in his underwear. As someone else said, there are idiot in every fanbase that give other fans a bad name.
Exactly. If you go to a UNC blog, they feel bad for the kid, but they don't ignore that this is a break for UNC. That is totally legit. Iowa isn't playing us or even still in the tourney. Some of them just root for anything bad to happen to us, including injuries.
I really think you're just full of **** on this one. I know that Embiids injury was somewhat of a hot topic going into the big 12 tourney but I don't remember ever seeing anyone celebrating about his injury.
