Chupacabra?

Sounds like a badger
I've seen badgers and this thing was in southern Missouri. I thought maybe a mangy raccoon until it ran. Weirdest looking animal I've ever seen. Looked just like the drawings other people have made. I hadn't even seen a pic of one until I saw this thing and started investigating what it might have been. The bright red eyes is what made me look up chupacabras.

Everything is different in Ma-sura.

Curious, SE, SC or SW part of the state. Big differences between the Boothill area and Ozark area; and extremely different in the neighboring area of Harrison AR.
 
I’ve heard similar. It will be a major issue if they’re on your land I would imagine.
I lived around black bears in CO. While they do pose a risk as they are a beat, they’re generally large raccoons. Only real concern is forgetting food in your car.
