Is unprofessional behavior just when interviewing someone? I liked a picture of Drunk Uncle Eddy being unprofessional.

And Jon Miller's entire career is unprofessional.

Agree with all of this. Except the bigger fish to fry. Let's beat UNI or NDSU first - then start looking at bigger fish. I for one, am sick of the embarrassment.
 
Still amazes me how many Hawk fans take the time to come to the ISU boards and post. I have much better things to do with my time than go to an opponents board and slam people.

Chris and Brent, you probably aren't even reading this but if you are: Keep doing what you do. Most of us love the product you put out for us, and it is all free of charge. Thanks!

Oh, and feel free to banhammer those who are attacking you, bet it would feel good!

The post I responded to had nothing to do with backing it up. It was regarding Stoops post and the difference between arrogance and confidence. There was no respect given by the vast majority of posters on either side so it was arrogance. Oklahoma can be arrogant ****** every week and go out and win the national championship undefeated. That doesn't mean they weren't arrogant just because the won.
 
I don't get it. Who cares what they said to some Bison homer. As a lot of people said in this thread. The podcasts are for ISU fans. They were fairly respectful to him considering he was saying they were going to roll us. Not much else they can say. I don't get why this bothers some. Who cares.

I don't think it bothers anyone. I think you're reading too far into it. It's just funny that's all. Hindsight is 20/20.

As far as Chris, he probably was as tired of hearing the Bison fan's **** as I was. How arrogant for a fan to predict that with new coaches, new QB, losing as many starters as they did, playing in the opponent's home field, and a higher division opponent that they would smoke us. Winning at K-State really has gone to their heads. The guy was being a total **** by making that big of a blowout prediction and was dealt with accordingly. The fact that he ended up being correct is irrelevant. The Bison fans are the ones that disrespected ISU first and some of us would not just sit there and take it.

The only thing I'm mad at CW about it hyping the team this much. And by hype I mean, lots of coverage and letting us all get excited for what is the still lousy team from last year.

edit to add: which isn't a shot a cwilly. All fans hope for the best, and there's no reason not to sell hope before any season. Sometimes it works out well, sometimes it doesn't.

Truth is, we have NO right whatsoever in returning any smack. NDSU has won 3 National Championships in FCS, and hasn't lost a game since 2009, including 4 or 5 wins against FBS schools in the process. They had a right to talk smack. We didn't.

I tremendously enjoyed that by quoting Bret's post, you actually asked for proof of Podrunk being unprofessional directly below the picture of him checking out skank hooters.

All summer long, I've said I saw Iowa State as a 4-5 win team and potentially 6 if everything fell into place. This whole, "Williams led us to believe the Cyclones would go 8-4" stuff I do not understand.

We will cover the team the way that we always cover the team. If the Cyclones are 1-7, Cyclone Fanatic will cover the Cyclones. If the Cyclones are 7-1, Cyclone Fanatic will cover the Cyclones. This is what we do. During good and bad times, we cover the Cyclones, for Cyclone fans. If you don't like the way that we cover the Cyclones, you don't have to take in our coverage of the Cyclones.

You all will be happy to hear that the NDSU guru who owned Blum and me will be back on the show this Thursday night. It should be a good time.
